Editorial Policy
The AgentBizData Academy exists to publish useful, practical playbooks for commercial P&C prospecting. This policy explains how we write, review, source, and update Academy content.
1) People-first, action-first content
Our goal is simple: you should be able to read an article and immediately know what to do next. We avoid fluff, filler, and vague "trend" content that doesn't help producers operate in the real world.
2) Authorship: three supported models
A. Editorial Team (internal)
- Byline shows: AgentBizData Academy (Editorial Team)
- Articles include a Last updated date
- We keep accountability through this policy and consistent updates
B. Named author (when applicable)
- Byline shows the author's name
- We link to an author profile page with relevant context (bio, focus area)
- Some posts may include "Reviewed by Editorial Team" when review occurs
C. Third-party references (magazines / websites / editorials)
- We may reference third-party publications for supporting context
- We do not copy or rewrite full articles
- We summarize fairly, add our own framework, and include a Sources section with links
3) Sourcing & citations
- When an article uses third-party references, we list them in a Sources section.
- We keep quotes short and limited, and we prioritize original examples, scripts, and workflows.
- When making specific claims, we prefer either first-hand operational guidance or reputable sources.
4) Updates
- We review core "pillar" pages on a regular schedule (typically every 60-90 days).
- We update content when workflows change, market conditions shift, or clarity improves.
- The Last updated date reflects meaningful edits, not minor formatting changes.
5) Corrections
If you believe something is incorrect or misleading, we want to know. Please contact us through the site's contact method and include the page URL and the issue you found.
6) Content safety and professionalism
The Academy is designed to support compliant, professional outreach. We do not publish instructions intended to bypass consent rules or encourage spam behavior.
